This project involved the design and installation of a complex fire protection system for a massive 18 level lift shaft.

Not only a complex job in a difficult work environment, this project was needing to be completed under tight time frames. With quality, precision and speed essential for this challenging project, the FRS team worked day and night to achieve the required timeframe for our client, Atelier Projects.

The end result was not only impressive but almost beautiful in its design. Using Promatec P250 we clad the angled structural steel beams up the entire 18 levels of the lift shaft and applied Cafco 300 Vermiculite fire spray to complete the fire rated system and ensure it was completely up to code

This construction project at 55 Southbank Boulevard is an existing commercial office building which is currently undergoing a 10 storey extension which will comprise an Adina Apartment Hotel with 220 rooms.
